TOWN COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED ON:  August 10, 2021
PURPOSE:
To amend the budget in the Federal Asset Forfeiture Fund for the purchase of a 2021 Dodge Durango.
FACTS AND ISSUES:

The budget amendment will increase the Appropriated Fund Balance and Expenditures by $30,000 in the Federal Asset Forfeiture Fund to allow the Police Department to purchase a 2021 Dodge Durango.

 

We would like to make this purchase now, with a vehicle available and on hold, due to the lack of availability of police packages in the coming year.

OPTIONS:
  1. Mayor and Board approve the budget amendment (Attachment).
  2. Mayor and Board of Aldermen defined option.
